St. Andrew's Church is a small church which was built in the 1860s. It was formerly the mission church of St. Peter's Church, West Sleekburn (Cambois Parish Church) until it closed in the 1990s. It has an important war memorial, a portacabin church hall and a garden. St. Andrew's has a very small but extremely friendly congregation and is faithfully maintained. Services are held on Sunday and Wednesday morning and the growing Mothers' Union meets once a month. St. Andrew's has close links with Cambois Primary School, which is close by, and the children regularly come into church to celebrate important festivals.

This Edwardian church has a lot of beauty inside its plain exterior! Worship is traditional but child-friendly as well, we have a toy corner for the children. The modern language form of Common Worship is normally used. On the second Sunday in the month a Parish Breakfast follows the 10am All Age Worship Service. The parish has a lively social life, with concerts and quizzes as well as fairs.
St. John's Church, Sleekburn, was built in 1906 as a place of worship for the expanding mining community in Bedlington Station. It is a large red-brick building with a vicarage and church hall and was built with funds from the coalmining philanthropist Miss Emily Easton. The traditional but homely church hall is the venue for a Faith and Life Group, a Craft group and popular social evenings and fairs. St. John's has good links with the two primary schools in the parish which use the church for their Christmas performances.
